Salon Owner/ Make-Up ArtistRicel May VeneracionRicel May Veneracion, a computer programming graduate discovered that being confined in a four-cornered room while working for 8 hours in a day was not what she wanted in life. She founded and manages all business features of Veneracion Beauty Salon and Spa – from customer service, accounting, inventory management, sales, marketing, staffing and training. The interest to start a salon business was influenced mainly by the desire to step up from the usual salons. Starting out small a few years ago, Veneracion realized that the ultimate key to success is to be equipped with the necessary knowledge to be able to expand the business. Veneracion took her training at the Center for Aesthetic Studies under Frank Provost. This has put her an edge over other salon owners since she also works as a stylist/make-up artist in her salon along with her excellent team of hair stylists. A great motivator to others and a very accommodating boss, her focus is in providing superior customer service while continuing to grow the business. Stepping a notch higher, choosing a franchise business seemed to be the easiest way to reach the goals in mind. However, being limited to do certain things as stipulated in the franchise agreement made Veneracion decide to do it on her own. After operating a franchised salon business, Venaracion was finally able to put up her own business bearing her name. Veneracion Beauty Salon and Spa is located at the Victoria Towers in Timog Ave. Corner Panay Avenue in Quezon City. Having the mindset of an entrepreneur, finding ways to maximize her time and resources, Veneracion is also a proud franchisee of 2 Turks Shawarma branches – one at the Shaw Center Mall in Mandaluyong which has been operational since December 2016 and at Victoria Towers in Quezon City since March 2017. Apart from being a franchise business owner, she is also an active online seller where she caters to young girls and moms with her wide collection of clothes and accessories. Her mind is set to be engaged with more businesses as her way of feeding her passion, helping her family and to provide employment to others. |
